I own most of the cookbooks Rose recommends but I had not heard about the soon-to-be-released “The Secret Life of Chocolate Chip Cookies”. Now added to the ever growing Fall 2025 buy list. So many stellar releases soon arriving. And I am going to check out Marissa’s “The Secret Life of Cookies” podcast. Thanks for the alert.
I know that Bon Appetit featured Rose, I thought she was on the cover but when I checked that was not the case, she should have been! The Cake Bible was regular reading around birthday time for my eldest daughter and left me a note on a scrap of paper with page numbers of what she would appreciate as her birthday cake, I cannot remember how many steps, a lot, and made it. I love that when I come across this note written on parchment paper, I smile and think of all the things that a teen could ask for, hers was a cake.
